The gas account is 2 months behind. Benjamin received a disconnection notice that says service will be cut off on October unless $55 is paid. He had never been late before losing my job in July.
Benjamin called the provider and asked about a payment plan, but they need a down payment of $25 first, which isn't available.
The household includes two young children, and going through summer without gas isn't safe. We would also lose the ability to run the medical equipment at home.
Benjamin is working on getting back on his feet, and wants to pay it forward once steady.
Every dollar goes to the account in Benjamin's name; a copy of the paid bill will be shared in the updates.
