Ghada lives with a spinal cord injury. The occupational therapist at Liverpool General Hospital has assessed her and recommended a prosthetic leg. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $700. Her current equipment is 13 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined her to home for 7 weeks. With the right equipment Ghada could go outside without waiting for someone to push. It would change everyday life for the whole family. We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest. Funds go toward the equipment, delivery, fitting and a year of servicing. Where the $700 goes: • Delivery and set-up: $165 • First-year servicing plan: $220 • Fitting and training sessions: $315 I hope life is good to you. - Rashid
