Start-up fund for Paisley: reopening a bicycle repair shop after a break-in
Paisley lost a full set of tools to a break-in and needs $2,600 to reopen a bicycle repair shop and support the family.

For nine years I have run a bicycle repair shop in Allentown. In January, a break-in took a full set of tools. I have no insurance, and the bank won't lend to me.
Before that, my customers came every Tuesday, and I employed 3 people from the neighborhood. I have been out of business for 4 weeks.
This business pays my children's school fees and rent. I have already started working from home in small ways, but I can't meet orders without proper equipment.
Every contribution brings me closer to reopening, and I promise to post photos as I buy each item.
Once I'm back on my feet I plan to hire back the people I had to let go.
Where the $2,600 goes:
• Shop repairs and licensing: $230
• Initial stock: spare parts: $350
• Replacing a full set of tools: $2,020
Ask me anything below before you decide. I'd rather you were sure.

Hope it all works out, Paisley. Hope you get there
Best of luck, Paisley. This could happen to any of us. My cousin had a similar thing happen so this one hit home. All the best.
Hang in there. Hope you get there. Greetings from Rajkot.
Sending good thoughts, Paisley. Hope you get there. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double. Thinking of Allentown.
