Help Jerome replace the suspension and return to work
Without my taxi Jerome can't work; a $310 repair would put him back on the road.

I make my living with my taxi. 12 weeks ago the suspension failed, and the mechanic says the repair will cost $310. Without the vehicle I earn nothing.
I have been borrowing from friends to pay rent, and now I have run out of people to ask.
I support my wife and our newborn. Before the breakdown I worked nine hours a day, six days a week. I have been offered extra shifts for the next four months if I can just get the vehicle working.
I have a written estimate from a certified mechanic and will upload it here.
All money will go toward the parts and labor on the estimate, with a small amount for road tax and insurance renewal.
Where the $310 goes:
• suspension replacement (parts): $220
• Labor charges: $60
• Road tax and insurance renewal: $25
• Towing and inspection: $5

Is there a list of costs somewhere? Just curious how it adds up for Jerome.
Sure. The biggest one is suspension replacement (parts), $220. The rest is in the list at the bottom of the post and I'll upload receipts as I pay each one. Ask me anything else.
