Luna has run a fish stall for twelve years; floodwater destroyed the equipment, and $3,000 will put it back on its feet.

For twelve years I have run a fish stall in Los Angeles. In December, floodwater took a freezer and scales. I have no insurance, and the bank won't lend to me. Before that, my customers came every Friday, and I employed 2 people from the neighborhood. I have been out of business for 7 weeks. This business pays my children's school fees and rent. I have already started working from home in small ways, but I can't meet orders without proper equipment. Every contribution brings me closer to reopening, and I promise to post photos as I buy each item. Once I'm back on my feet I plan to hire back the people I had to let go. Where the $3,000 goes: • Replacing a freezer and scales: $1,950 • Shop repairs and licensing: $500 • Initial stock: the first catch: $550 You're what makes this possible, and I'll never forget it. - Luna
