The water account is 2 months behind. Uche received a disconnection notice that says service will be cut off on April unless $100 is paid. He had never been late before January's medical emergency.
Uche called the provider and asked about a payment plan, but they need a down payment of $25 first, which isn't available.
The household includes a newborn, and going through the rainy season without water isn't safe. Without it we can't refrigerate insulin and food, or keep the house at a safe temperature.
Uche is working on getting back on his feet, and wants to pay it forward once steady.
Every dollar goes to the account in Uche's name; a copy of the paid bill will be shared in the updates.
