Start-up fund for Karim: reopening a fish stall after a long illness and repossession
Karim has run a fish stall for fifteen years; a long illness and repossession destroyed the equipment, and $200 will put it back on its feet.

For fifteen years I have run a fish stall in Zagazig. In July, a long illness and repossession took a freezer and scales. I have no insurance, and the bank won't lend to me.
Before that, my customers came every Sunday, and I employed 1 people from the neighborhood. I have been out of business for 5 weeks.
This business pays my children's school fees and rent. I have already started working from home in small ways, but I can't meet orders without proper equipment.
Every contribution brings me closer to reopening, and I promise to post photos as I buy each item.
Once I'm back on my feet I plan to hire back the people I had to let go.
Where the $200 goes:
• Initial stock: the first catch: $70
• Working capital for the first month: $50
• Shop repairs and licensing: $80

Take care. Your post was clear and honest. I have a 15 year old who wants to send good wishes too.
This could happen to any of us. We're a small family in New Delhi but we're thinking of you.
