Start-up fund for Bushra: reopening a flower stall after a fire in the building
Bushra has run a flower stall for four years; a fire in the building destroyed the equipment, and $400 will put it back on its feet.

For four years I have run a flower stall in Hyderabad. In November, a fire in the building took display cabinets and a cooler. I have no insurance, and the bank won't lend to me.
Before that, my customers came every Sunday, and I employed 1 people from the neighborhood. I have been out of business for 10 weeks.
This business pays my children's school fees and rent. I have already started working from home in small ways, but I can't meet orders without proper equipment.
Every contribution brings me closer to reopening, and I promise to post photos as I buy each item.
Once I'm back on my feet I plan to hire back the people I had to let go.
Where the $400 goes:
• Replacing display cabinets and a cooler: $270
• Initial stock: seasonal flowers: $45
• Shop repairs and licensing: $50
• Working capital for the first month: $35
Thanks for being kind about this.
Updates from Bushra
Thank you all. We're at 45% now ($181). I'm honestly stunned. I made the first payment toward initial stock: seasonal flowers.
Good news. Because of your gifts ($81 in total) I made the first payment toward working capital for the first month. Still a way to go but it feels less lonely.
