School supplies and a laptop for Festus in Abuja
Festus earned a place in Grade 9 at Abuja Science Academy; we're $150 short on required supplies.
🇳🇬 Abuja, Abuja FCT, Nigeria1,354 views
I earned a place in Grade 9 at Abuja Science Academy, and I couldn't be prouder. The school has a long list of things I need, including a laptop for the robotics course, and a uniform.
My mother works two jobs, and the list costs $150, which is more than we have.
I love robotics and want to become a nurse. A laptop will let me do coursework at home instead of waiting for library hours.
I'll take care of everything you give me and I promise to work hard.
I'll buy the items from the school's approved supplier and post photos of everything.
Where the $150 goes:
• Laptop: $85
• School uniform and shoes: $20
• Textbooks and workbooks: $15
• Calculator, stationery and a school bag: $30
Whatever you can give, even just sharing this page, means a lot.

Best of luck. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. Read this on the bus and kept thinking about it all day. All the best
Best of luck. Looking forward to the next update. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double.
Sending good thoughts, Festus. Hope you get there. Love from Surat.
sending love, Festus. Shared it with a few friends. It's not much but it's yours. Thinking of Abuja
