Standing with Supaporn: early-stage lung cancer treatment costs

Supaporn was diagnosed with early-stage lung cancer in December. The oncology team at Khon Kaen University Hospital has planned 10 rounds of treatment, starting in March. She will be away from work for about 6 weeks. Supaporn is 41, worked as a nurse until December, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after her. Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Khon Kaen University Hospital 4 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
