Standing with Shireen: stage 2 breast cancer treatment costs

Shireen was diagnosed with stage 2 breast cancer in March. The oncology team at Sandton Cancer Centre has planned 4 rounds of treatment, starting in June. She will be away from work for about 6 weeks.
Shireen is 29, worked as a shop owner until March, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after her.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Sandton Cancer Centre 4 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off her shoulders.
Funds will be used only for treatment, medication, transport to appointments and essential living costs during treatment.
Where the $1,900 goes:
• Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $1,050
• Scans and lab work: $250
• Transport to Sandton Cancer Centre: $180
• Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $220
• Household costs while unable to work: $200

Sure. The biggest one is chemotherapy and medication not covered, $1,050. The rest is in the list at the bottom of the post and I'll upload receipts as I pay each one. Let me know if you want more detail.
