Standing with Sachin: early-stage lung cancer treatment costs

Sachin was diagnosed with early-stage lung cancer in January. The oncology team at Howrah University Hospital has planned 6 rounds of treatment, starting in May. He will be away from work for about 5 weeks.
Sachin is 39, worked as a taxi driver until January, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Howrah University Hospital 2 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off his shoulders.
Funds will be used only for treatment, medication, transport to appointments and essential living costs during treatment.

• Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $125
• Transport to Howrah University Hospital: $170
• Scans and lab work: $155
