Standing with Paul: prostate cancer treatment costs
Supporting Paul through prostate cancer: medication, transport to Epe Regional Medical Center, and living costs while He cannot work.
🇳🇬 Epe, Lagos, Nigeria1,553 views
Paul was diagnosed with prostate cancer in August. The oncology team at Epe Regional Medical Center has planned 6 rounds of treatment, starting in November. He will be away from work for about 6 weeks.
Paul is 29, worked as a nurse until August, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Epe Regional Medical Center 5 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off his shoulders.
Funds will be used only for treatment, medication, transport to appointments and essential living costs during treatment.
Where the $1,350 goes:
• Scans and lab work: $175
• Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $840
• Household costs while unable to work: $335
I'll pay this kindness forward the moment I'm able to.

Best of luck, Zubby. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier.
Sending love, Zubby. Your post was clear and honest. Blessings.
Praying for you. Gave what I could, wish it was more. Put this on a community board in London this morning!
Hope it all works out. Hope you get there. We're a small family in Pune but we're thinking of you.
Hope things get better soon, Zubby. This could happen to any of us. Take care.
