Nathan lives with a spinal cord injury. The occupational therapist at the Los Angeles Mobility Clinic has assessed him and recommended a communication tablet with eye tracking. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $4,500. His current equipment is 13 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined him to home for 4 weeks. With the right equipment Nathan could attend work interviews. It would change everyday life for the whole family. We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest. Funds go toward the equipment, delivery, fitting and a year of servicing.
