Nhân was diagnosed with early-stage lung cancer in November. The oncology team at the Riverside Oncology Institute has planned 6 rounds of treatment, starting in January. He will be away from work for about 6 weeks. Nhân is 27, worked as a bakery worker until November, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him. Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to the Riverside Oncology Institute 2 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly. We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off his shoulders. I'll post every invoice and receipt as an update so donors can follow where each gift goes. Where the $11,400 goes: • Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $6,500 • Scans and lab work: $1,350 • Transport to the Riverside Oncology Institute: $670 • Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $810 • Household costs while unable to work: $2,070 I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support.
