Fighting stage 3 ovarian cancer: help Juliet afford treatment in Abuja
Supporting Juliet through stage 3 ovarian cancer: medication, transport to the Abuja Oncology Institute, and living costs while She can't work.
🇳🇬 Nigeria1,031 views
In November I was diagnosed with stage 3 ovarian cancer. My oncology team at the Abuja Oncology Institute has planned 6 rounds of treatment, and the first starts in January. I was told to expect about 6 weeks away from work.
I never imagined I'd be writing something like this. I'm 43, I worked as a bus conductor until November, and I have been the main earner for my household.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, transport to the Abuja Oncology Institute 4 times a week, and the income I have lost add up quickly.
My family is doing everything they can, but we've already sold what we could and are borrowing for groceries.
I'll post every invoice and receipt as an update so donors can follow where each gift goes.
Where the $600 goes:
• Scans and lab work: $240
• Transport to the Abuja Oncology Institute: $85
• Household costs while unable to work: $275
Every share and every dollar helps.
