Standing with Naresh: kidney cancer treatment costs
Naresh is facing kidney cancer and the cost of treatment, travel and care at home is far beyond what the family can cover.

Naresh was diagnosed with kidney cancer in June. The oncology team at Kathmandu Cancer Centre has planned 4 rounds of treatment, starting in September. He will be away from work for about 12 weeks.
Naresh is 34, worked as a taxi driver until June, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Kathmandu Cancer Centre 5 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off his shoulders.
I'll post every invoice and receipt as an update so donors can follow where each gift goes.
Where the $1,650 goes:
• Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $1,100
• Scans and lab work: $180
• Transport to Kathmandu Cancer Centre: $115
• Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $125
• Household costs while unable to work: $130
