Standing with Mavis: stage 2 breast cancer treatment costs

Mavis was diagnosed with stage 2 breast cancer in January. The oncology team at Ho Regional Medical Center has planned 10 rounds of treatment, starting in April. She will be away from work for about 3 weeks. Mavis is 43, worked as a bus conductor until January, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after her. Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Ho Regional Medical Center 5 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
