Héctor was diagnosed with early-stage lung cancer in August. The oncology team at Madrid Cancer Centre has planned 8 rounds of treatment, starting in October. He will be away from work for about 10 weeks. Héctor is 52, worked as a shop owner until August, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him. Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Madrid Cancer Centre 3 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly. We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off his shoulders. I'll post every invoice and receipt as an update so donors can follow where each gift goes. Where the $5,650 goes: • Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $3,850 • Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $200 • Scans and lab work: $520 • Household costs while unable to work: $1,080 I hope life is good to you. - Armando
