Standing with Dorota: stage 3 ovarian cancer treatment costs
12 rounds of treatment are planned at Katowice Cancer Centre; we are asking for help with the costs insurance does not cover.

Dorota was diagnosed with stage 3 ovarian cancer in June. The oncology team at Katowice Cancer Centre has planned 12 rounds of treatment, starting in August. She will be away from work for about 5 weeks.
Dorota is 49, worked as a nurse until June, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after her.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Katowice Cancer Centre 5 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off her shoulders.
I'll post every invoice and receipt as an update so donors can follow where each gift goes.
Where the $5,750 goes:
• Scans and lab work: $650
• Transport to Katowice Cancer Centre: $390
• Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $3,750
• Household costs while unable to work: $960

Is there a list of costs somewhere? Just curious how it adds up for Dorota.
It's all in the list in the story. scans and lab work is the big one at $650, I'll post a receipt when it's paid. Ask me anything else.
