Bambang received an eviction notice - help us catch up on rent
A notice to vacate arrived last week. Bambang needs $550 to clear the arrears and stay housed in Bekasi.

After a sudden layoff at the restaurant, I fell 4 months behind on rent. Last Tuesday a notice to vacate was taped to my door, and the amount I owe is $550.
My landlord has been understanding for a while, but he has now been clear: if the arrears aren't cleared by December, we must leave.
I have three school-aged children at home. Moving isn't just an expense - it would mean new schools, a new commute and no deposit to put down anywhere else.
I have started working weekend shifts, and I'm applying for help from local services, but nothing will arrive in time without the rest of the gap covered here.
Funds go to the landlord and nowhere else. Any amount left over after the arrears are cleared will go toward next month's rent.
Where the $550 goes:
• Rent arrears (4 months): $360
• Late fees and court costs: $20
• Utilities in arrears: $45
• First month of rent as a buffer: $125
With deep gratitude,
Bambang

Is there anything that isn't money that would help Bambang?
Thank you. If you're in Bekasi I'll say if something practical comes up. For now sharing this is great. I'll keep the page updated.
Best of luck, Bambang. Shared this with my family. Thinking of Bekasi.
