Winter storm in Memphis: help the families of Riverside Lane rebuild
The winter storm damaged 54 homes in the families of Riverside Lane. We're raising funds for repairs, supplies and temporary shelter.

The winter storm hit the families of Riverside Lane on 21 June. My home was one of 54 damaged, and 4 families are still in temporary shelter at a borrowed warehouse.
The first few days we shared what little we had. Now the cleanup has started, but we've no money for materials and winter or the rainy season is coming.
Schools in the area have been closed, and the clinic lost its cold storage for vaccines. We're a small community of working families who have never asked for help before.
We have formed a volunteer committee, and I'm the treasurer, so I'll post receipts for everything we buy.
We buy supplies locally and in bulk, so the money goes further. Receipts and photos will be posted in updates.
Where the $3,150 goes:
• Food parcels for displaced families: $1,700
• Clean water and purification supplies: $770
• Bedding, blankets and mattresses: $680
With deep gratitude,
Gerald

Praying for you, Gerald. Hope you get there.
take care, Gerald. Hope the build day goes well, wish I lived closer. The breakdown of costs made it easy to trust. All the best
Best of luck. Gave what I could, wish it was more. My neighbor in Munich donated after I showed her your page.
Thinking of you. I hope things turn around soon. I hope October is when things finally get easier. Greetings from Alicante.
