Standing with Bea: stage 3 ovarian cancer treatment costs
Bea is facing stage 3 ovarian cancer and the cost of treatment, travel and care at home is far beyond what the family can cover.

Bea was diagnosed with stage 3 ovarian cancer in June. The oncology team at Cebu City Cancer Centre has planned 4 rounds of treatment, starting in September. She will be away from work for about 3 weeks.
Bea is 26, worked as a farmer until June, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after her.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Cebu City Cancer Centre 3 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off her shoulders.
I'll post every invoice and receipt as an update so donors can follow where each gift goes.
Where the $2,250 goes:
• Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $1,400
• Scans and lab work: $270
• Transport to Cebu City Cancer Centre: $150
• Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $110
• Household costs while unable to work: $320
