Sultana lives with multiple sclerosis. The occupational therapist at the Gazipur Mobility Clinic has assessed her and recommended a stair-climbing aid. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $50. Her current equipment is 14 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined her to home for 7 weeks. With the right equipment Sultana could speak with the people around her. It would change everyday life for the whole family. We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest. I'll pay the supplier directly from the funds, and I'll post a photo once the equipment is delivered. Where the $50 goes: • First-year servicing plan: $20 • Delivery and set-up: $15 • Fitting and training sessions: $15 Glad we found this place.
