Save Rosie: Yakubu can't afford the emergency vet
A German shepherd named Rosie needs emergency surgery - a $200 bill the family can't cover.
🇳🇬 Nigeria206 views
Rosie is my German shepherd of eleven years. On 8 August we rushed to Awka Animal Hospital with a ruptured cruciate ligament. The vet recommends emergency surgery, and the estimate came to $200.
They have stabilized Rosie, but the treatment can't wait beyond November.
Rosie is more than a pet - Rosie got me through my hardest year. I have already put $40 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan.
Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back.
If more is raised than needed, the surplus goes to Awka Animal Hospital's charity fund for other animals.
Where the $200 goes:
• Medication and follow-up visits: $50
• Diagnostics (X-ray, bloodwork): $45
• Emergency surgery: $105
Whatever you can give, even just sharing this page, means a lot.
