Save Nala: Sumaiya can't afford the emergency vet
Nala, Sumaiya's three-legged dog, needs urgent treatment for a foreign object blocking the intestines costing $205.

Nala is my three-legged dog of two years. On 19 June we rushed to Savar Animal Hospital with a foreign object blocking the intestines. The vet recommends orthopedic surgery, and the estimate came to $205.
They have stabilized Nala, but the treatment can't wait beyond August.
Nala is more than a pet - Nala is a retired therapy animal who has comforted dozens of patients. I have already put $40 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan.
Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back.
If more is raised than needed, the surplus goes to Savar Animal Hospital's charity fund for other animals.
Where the $205 goes:
• Diagnostics (X-ray, bloodwork): $25
• Emergency surgery: $175
• Medication and follow-up visits: $5
You're what makes this possible, and I'll never forget it.
