Save Rocky: Elizabeth can't afford the emergency vet
Rocky, Elizabeth's dog, needs urgent treatment for pyometra costing $350.

Rocky is my dog of six years. On 3 March we rushed to the Accra Emergency Vet Clinic with pyometra. The vet recommends a hospital stay and surgery, and the estimate came to $350.
They have stabilized Rocky, but the treatment can't wait beyond June.
Rocky is more than a pet - Rocky got me through my hardest year. I have already put $15 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan.
Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back.
If more is raised than needed, the surplus goes to the Accra Emergency Vet Clinic's charity fund for other animals.
Where the $350 goes:
• Medication and follow-up visits: $20
• Hospitalization (4 nights): $75
• Emergency surgery: $255
I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support.
- Elizabeth
