Fighting stage 3 ovarian cancer: help Angel afford treatment in Aurora
Angel is facing stage 3 ovarian cancer and the cost of treatment, travel and care at home is far beyond what the family can cover.

Angel was diagnosed with stage 3 ovarian cancer in May. The oncology team at Aurora Cancer Centre has planned 4 rounds of treatment, starting in July. He will be away from work for about 7 weeks.
Angel is 54, worked as a nurse until May, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Aurora Cancer Centre 2 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off his shoulders.
Funds will be used only for treatment, medication, transport to appointments and essential living costs during treatment.

• Transport to Aurora Cancer Centre: $640
• Household costs while unable to work: $2,700
• Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $310
