Save Pixel: Irina can't afford the emergency vet
A dog named Pixel needs orthopedic surgery - a $500 bill the family can't cover.

Pixel is my dog of thirteen years. On 11 August we rushed to Zaporizhzhia Veterinary Centre with a tumor on the spleen. The vet recommends orthopedic surgery, and the estimate came to $500.
They have stabilized Pixel, but the treatment can't wait beyond November.
Pixel is more than a pet - Pixel got me through my hardest year. I have already put $45 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan.
Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back.
Funds will be paid straight to Zaporizhzhia Veterinary Centre and I'll share the invoice and an update on Pixel's recovery.
Where the $500 goes:
• Diagnostics (X-ray, bloodwork): $40
• Emergency surgery: $330
• Hospitalization (2 nights): $130
Thank you for reading my story.

is there a list of costs somewhere? Just curious how it adds up for Irina
Sure. The biggest one is diagnostics (X-ray, bloodwork), $40. The rest is in the list at the bottom of the post and I'll upload receipts as I pay each one. Ask me anything else.
Stay strong, Irina. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. Thinking of Zaporizhzhia.
good luck, Irina. It takes guts to ask. Well done. I have a 16 year old who wants to send good wishes too
Thanks for sharing this, Irina. Looking forward to the next update.
Hope you get there. Put this on a community board in Madrid this morning. All the best.
You're not alone, Irina. Hope the recovery goes smoothly. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double
