A simple way to help: donate warm clothing for kids at Maple Refugee Centre.

I coordinate donations at Maple Refugee Centre in San Jose. Every year around this time we hear from families who have nothing warm for their children, and this year demand has more than doubled.
We're collecting clean, gently used or new coats, boots, hats, gloves and scarves in sizes 2 to 14 years. If you're in San Jose, we can arrange a pick-up or you can drop things at Maple Refugee Centre on Friday between 11am and 2pm.
If you're elsewhere, you may offer to sponsor a coat through a local shop - message in the comments and we can coordinate.
Items go to families directly and the rest to the Maple Refugee Centre clothing bank, which is open to everyone.
Please ask me anything in the questions section. I'll answer honestly and quickly.

Wishing you peace, Audrey. This could happen to any of us.
Thinking of you, Audrey. I hope your landlord gives you a bit more time while this comes together. Wish I lived closer to Nottingham so I could bring a meal. All the best
sending love, Audrey. Hope you get there. Take care.
Wishing you peace, Audrey. Shared this with my family. My daughter saw me on my phone and now she wants to give her pocket money
