Milo is my rescue greyhound of thirteen years. On 28 August we rushed to the Charlotte Emergency Vet Clinic with a foreign object blocking the intestines. The vet recommends a hospital stay and surgery, and the estimate came to $1,050. They have stabilized Milo, but the treatment can't wait beyond November. Milo is more than a pet - Milo is a retired therapy animal who has comforted dozens of patients. I have already put $120 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan. Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back. If more is raised than needed, the surplus goes to the Charlotte Emergency Vet Clinic's charity fund for other animals.
