I'm the first person in my family to go to university. I'm studying a degree in social work at Kraków University, and I'm one term away from graduating. I have worked as a barista to pay my way, but this term my hours were cut and I have an unpaid balance of $1,700.
The registrar has told me I can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. I have a distinction average, and my academic advisor has written in support of my application for a payment plan.
Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support my younger siblings. Without enrolling this term I'd lose my place and my scholarship eligibility.
I'm not asking for a handout - I want to finish what I started and then help the next student.
The payment will go directly to the Kraków University bursar's office. I'll post the receipt.
Where the $1,700 goes:
• Final term tuition: $520
• Outstanding tuition balance: $1,100
• Textbooks and materials: $80

Wishing you peace, Szymon. As a teacher I love seeing someone work this hard to learn. I'll check back for the next update. Greetings from Belém.
Best of luck, Szymon. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes
Take care. Hope you get there. Put this on a community board in Cox's Bazar this morning.
