Rodrigo wants to stay at home - help fund four months of care
Rodrigo, 82, needs daily care to stay at home, and the family is raising $1,300 for a carer and medicines.

I'm caring for my father, who's 82. After a stroke last September Rodrigo can no longer manage alone. A nursing home would cost far more than we have, and Rodrigo desperately wants to stay at home.
I work 30 hours a week and have cut back to look after him, but we need a part-time carer.
Rodrigo worked all of his life as a bus driver, and raised 2 children. Now we're trying to give some of that care back.
Medication, a hospital bed and a carer for four months will make a huge difference.
The carer will be employed through a registered agency and paid directly. I'll share the agency invoices.
Where the $1,300 goes:
• Hospital bed and mattress rental: $80
• Part-time carer (four months): $1,050
• Mobility aids and bathroom adaptations: $170
