A service dog for Sapna, an engineering corps veteran in Rajkot
After ten years of service, Sapna is raising funds for a vocational welding course and tools.

I served ten years in the engineering corps and was discharged in 2024 with post-traumatic stress. I have been waiting nine months for support, and meanwhile I'm sleeping at my brother's place.
I have a plan: a vocational welding course and tools. The quote I have comes to $750.
I'm receiving counseling through the veterans' clinic and am committed to my recovery. Structure and a stable place to live are the missing pieces.
I'd be grateful for any help and will share updates on how I'm doing.
Money will be paid to the training provider and the landlord directly.
Where the $750 goes:
• Training provider fees: $450
• Housing deposit and first month: $155
• Transport to appointments: $60
• Essential household items: $85
Ask me anything below before you decide. I'd rather you were sure.

Wishing you the best, Sapna. It takes guts to ask. Well done. My neighbor in Bengaluru donated after I showed her your page. God bless.
