Rides to dialysis three times a week for Óscar in Alcalá de Henares
Could you drive Óscar to Alcalá de Henares Regional Medical Center on Friday? A rota of 4 drivers is forming.
🇪🇸 Alcalá de Henares, Madrid, Spain808 views
Óscar has been on dialysis for 2 years and until recently drove to Alcalá de Henares Regional Medical Center alone. After a foot amputation, Óscar can no longer drive. Taxis cost more than the family can pay three times a week.
We're building a rota of volunteer drivers. Each session is 3 hours, including the trip there and back; most volunteers take one regular day. The journey is about 8 km each way.
Óscar is cheerful company. You'd need a car in good condition and a clean driving record. We'll cover your fuel costs, and the family will send you home with homemade food.
Please say which day works for you in the comments.
I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen.
