Let's build a community garden together in Nashik
A community-led a community garden at Lotus Park that will serve 316 neighbors.

For three years the neighborhood has asked for a community garden. This year a group of 12 volunteers, including the parish youth group, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for Lotus Park, but no funding.
We have received donated volunteer hours worth about $85, and the remaining cost is $500.
It will serve about 316 people, including school children and their families. We'll hold a build day in October and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
All purchases will be made by two volunteers and logged publicly. Surplus funds will go to maintenance.
Where the $500 goes:
• Materials: $360
• Permits and inspections: $50
• Safety equipment and signage: $60
• Tools hire and delivery: $30
