Jordan has been on dialysis for 4 years and until recently drove to Scranton Regional Medical Center alone. After surgery on their hand, Jordan can no longer drive. Taxis cost more than the family can pay three times a week. We're building a rota of volunteer drivers. Each session is 3 hours, including the trip there and back; most volunteers take one regular day. The journey is about 31 km each way. Jordan is cheerful company. You'd need a car in good condition and a clean driving record. We'll cover your fuel costs, and the family will send you home with homemade food. Please say which day works for you in the comments. I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support.

Stay strong, Liliana. I work in healthcare and wanted you to know people are on your side. I went through something like this 8 years ago and strangers helped me out.

    • Thinking of you, Liliana. I hope things turn around soon. Blessings.
