Emergency vet bill for Pixel in Rohini
A German shepherd named Pixel needs emergency surgery - a $350 bill the family can't cover.
🇮🇳 India804 views
Pixel is my German shepherd of eleven years. On 4 April we rushed to Rohini Veterinary Centre with a tumor on the spleen. The vet recommends emergency surgery, and the estimate came to $350.
They have stabilized Pixel, but the treatment can't wait beyond May.
Pixel is more than a pet - Pixel is a retired therapy animal who has comforted dozens of patients. I have already put $50 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan.
Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back.
Funds will be paid straight to Rohini Veterinary Centre and I'll share the invoice and an update on Pixel's recovery.
Where the $350 goes:
• Emergency surgery: $185
• Hospitalization (3 nights): $100
• Medication and follow-up visits: $40
• Diagnostics (X-ray, bloodwork): $25
Even a small gift gets used right away and I'll thank you myself.

Hang in there, Neelam. We've got a rescue too so I know how much they mean. We lost years of savings to something like this so I get it. All the best.
so sorry you're going through this, Neelam. It takes guts to ask. Well done
Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double. Thinking of Rohini.
Sending good thoughts, Neelam. We've got a rescue too so I know how much they mean. We had a similar scare last year, I know what it feels like.
