Rides to dialysis three times a week for Atim in Fort Portal
A rota of drivers to the Fort Portal Dialysis Unit would keep Atim on treatment. Even one trip a week helps.

Atim has been on dialysis for 5 years and until recently drove to the Fort Portal Dialysis Unit alone. After an eyesight problem, Atim can no longer drive. Taxis cost more than the family can pay three times a week.
We're building a rota of volunteer drivers. Each session is 4 hours, including the trip there and back; most volunteers take one regular day. The journey is about 21 km each way.
Atim is cheerful company. You'd need a car in good condition and a clean driving record. We'll cover your fuel costs, and the family will send you home with homemade food.
