Dwarka
I'm the first person in my family to go to university. I'm studying a master's in public health at Dwarka Community College, and I'm two terms away from graduating. I have worked as a tutor to pay my way, but this term my hours were cut and I have an unpaid balance of $750. The registrar has told me I can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. I have a 3.6 average, and my academic advisor has written in support of my application for a payment plan. Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support my younger siblings. Without enrolling this term I'd lose my place and my scholarship eligibility. I'm not asking for a handout - I want to finish what I started and then help the next student. The payment will go directly to the Dwarka Community College bursar's office. I'll post the receipt. Where the $750 goes: • Outstanding tuition balance: $470 • Final term tuition: $220 • Exam and lab fees: $15 • Textbooks and materials: $45 If you're reading this, thank you.

  • sending strength. Education changes everything, hope you graduate with honors. Greetings from Brampton.

    • Wishing you peace, Ramesh. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. This is the second need I've supported on here and the first that made me cry. Thinking of Dwarka.
