Keep the electricity and water on at Ginevra's home in Milan
Ginevra is behind on electricity and water bills after January's medical emergency and needs $500 to avoid a shut-off.

The electricity and water account is 2 months behind. I received a disconnection notice that says service will be cut off on April unless I pay $500. I have never been late before January's medical emergency.
I called the provider and asked about a payment plan, but they need a down payment of $135 first, which I don't have.
I live with two young children, and going through the cold months without electricity and water isn't safe. We can't cook, keep medicine cold or heat the home.
I'm working on getting back on my feet, and will pay forward whatever help I can once I'm steady.
The money will go directly to the utility provider, and I'll post the paid statement here.
Where the $500 goes:
• Heating arrears: $240
• Reconnection and late fees: $90
• Down payment on a payment plan: $170
I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support.
