Guidance wanted: Amelia's university applications
Looking for a graduate who can spend an hour a week reviewing Amelia's essays until June.

I'm Amelia, 18, in Year 12. My parents work long hours and didn't go to university, so there's no one at home who can help me understand applications, deadlines or financial aid. I'd like to study economics.
I have a distinction average, I volunteer at my mosque and I have a draft of my personal statement. What I need is someone to read my essays, tell me honestly what's weak, and explain how scholarships work.
I'm looking for an hour a week until June. We can do it by video from anywhere. My mother will be at home during every call, and the school counselor knows about this request.
Thanks for reading. It took me a long time to ask.
Glad we found this place.

Shared this with my family. I'll check back for the next update. Thinking of Liverpool.
Hang in there. Shared it with a few friends. Sent it to 10 people at work. Take care
Keep going. This could happen to any of us. Don't be hard on yourself for asking. Thinking of Liverpool.
