Qian's emergency hernia repair can't wait - please help us cover the bill
A scheduled emergency hernia repair in October is out of reach without help covering $6,350 of the cost.

Qian was diagnosed with a cleft palate needing repair in August. The surgeon at Mississauga General Hospital recommended emergency hernia repair, and She is scheduled for October. The hospital's financial office gave us a written estimate of $10,500, and after what my employer's plan will pay we're still $6,350 short.
my daughter has been in and out of Mississauga General Hospital since August. The doctors say a cleft palate needing repair will get worse without emergency hernia repair. We have emptied our savings and borrowed from relatives, but the estimate of $10,500 is more than we can find.
While we wait, Qian struggles with daily life and can't lift anything heavy. Her family has taken turns caring for her, and I've cut my own work hours to be there.
The recovery period is expected to take about 7 weeks. During that time Qian won't be able to lift anything heavy, so the costs keep growing.
