A weekly ride to New Delhi Regional Medical Center for Mitu

A rota of drivers to New Delhi Regional Medical Center would keep Mitu on treatment. Even one trip a week helps.

Mitu has been on dialysis for 1 years and until recently drove to New Delhi Regional Medical Center alone. After an eyesight problem, Mitu can no longer drive. Taxis cost more than the family can pay three times a week. We're building a rota of volunteer drivers. Each session is 4 hours, including the trip there and back; most volunteers take one regular day. The journey is about 24 km each way. Mitu is cheerful company. You'd need a car in good condition and a clean driving record. We'll cover your fuel costs, and the family will send you home with homemade food. Please say which day works for you in the comments. If you can't give, please share this page. It does reach people.
