Madina
Papa was diagnosed with kidney cancer in November. The oncology team at Madina Cancer Centre has planned 10 rounds of treatment, starting in February. He will be away from work for about 7 weeks. Papa is 50, worked as a shop owner until November, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him. Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Madina Cancer Centre 2 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly. We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off his shoulders. Funds will be used only for treatment, medication, transport to appointments and essential living costs during treatment. Where the $1,550 goes: • Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $115 • Household costs while unable to work: $155 • Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $1,280 Please ask me anything in the questions section. I'll answer honestly and quickly.

    • good luck, Ebo. Looking forward to the next update. This is the second need I've supported on here and the first that made me cry. God bless.
