Since 2022, our volunteer team has run Neighbors' Pantry every Wednesday from the back of the mosque courtyard. We started with 13 families, and now we feed 80 each week. Donations have dropped by about 48% this winter, while the line has grown every single week. We rely on volunteers - 14 of us - and keep no salaries or overhead. I buy staples at wholesale prices at the Manila market and keep every receipt. Each $5 feeds a family of four for a week. All of the funds go to groceries, fresh produce, and cold-storage costs. Where the $350 goes: • Refrigeration and electricity: $60 • Fresh vegetables and fruit: $200 • Baby formula and diapers: $90 Thanks for being kind about this.

Updates from Wilfredo

  1. 35% there. I met with the wholesaler and confirmed the amounts. Thank you.

  2. Good news. Because of your gifts ($79 in total) the plan for baby formula and diapers is now scheduled. Still a way to go but it feels less lonely.

  3. 20% there. I made the first payment toward fresh vegetables and fruit. Thank you.
