Emergency vet bill for Oscar in Cairo
A rescue greyhound named Oscar needs emergency surgery - a $250 bill the family can't cover.
🇪🇬 Cairo, Cairo, Egypt1,054 views
Oscar is my rescue greyhound of nine years. On 25 August we rushed to the Cairo Emergency Vet Clinic with kidney failure. The vet recommends emergency surgery, and the estimate came to $250.
They have stabilized Oscar, but the treatment can't wait beyond December.
Oscar is more than a pet - Oscar got me through my hardest year. I have already put $40 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan.
Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back.
If more is raised than needed, the surplus goes to the Cairo Emergency Vet Clinic's charity fund for other animals.
Where the $250 goes:
• Diagnostics (X-ray, bloodwork): $30
• Emergency surgery: $140
• Hospitalization (4 nights): $80
I'll pay this kindness forward the moment I'm able to.
