Consuelo was diagnosed with endometriosis requiring surgery in January. The surgeon at Madrid Community Hospital recommended palate reconstruction surgery, and She is scheduled for April. The hospital's financial office gave us a written estimate of $4,000, and after what the public health scheme will pay we're still $3,200 short.
my daughter has been in and out of Madrid Community Hospital since January. The doctors say endometriosis requiring surgery will get worse without palate reconstruction surgery. We have emptied our savings and borrowed from relatives, but the estimate of $4,000 is more than we can find.
While we wait, Consuelo struggles with daily life and can't look after the children alone. Her family has taken turns caring for her, and I've cut my own work hours to be there.
