One semester away: help Rubén graduate from Guadalajara University

Rubén is the first person in the family to go to university. He is studying a degree in civil engineering at Guadalajara University, and is one semester away from graduating. He has worked as a warehouse packer to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $450. The registrar has said Rubén can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Rubén has a distinction average, and a department head has written in support. Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Rubén would lose his place and scholarship eligibility. Rubén isn't asking for a handout - He wants to finish what He started and help the next student. The payment will go directly to the Guadalajara University bursar's office. I'll post the receipt. Where the $450 goes: • Exam and lab fees: $45 • Textbooks and materials: $70 • Outstanding tuition balance: $335 Ask me anything below before you decide. I'd rather you were sure. - Ricardo
