Aurangabad

Paresh is the first person in the family to go to university. He is studying a computer science degree at Aurangabad University, and is one term away from graduating. He has worked as a warehouse packer to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $800. The registrar has said Paresh can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Paresh has a 3.9 average, and a faculty supervisor has written in support. Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Paresh would lose his place and scholarship eligibility. Paresh isn't asking for a handout - He wants to finish what He started and help the next student. The payment will go directly to the Aurangabad University bursar's office. I'll post the receipt. Where the $800 goes: • Outstanding tuition balance: $430 • Final term tuition: $290 • Exam and lab fees: $40 • Textbooks and materials: $40 If you're reading this, thank you. - Anushka

Updates from Anushka

Quick update: $380 raised so far (48%). I met with the university and confirmed the amounts. Receipts coming as soon as I have them.
Update from Aurangabad: the first invoice got paid this week. We're at 44% of the goal. Thank you for believing in us.
Good news. Because of your gifts ($310 in total) we've started the first stage. Still a way to go but it feels less lonely.
